Brazilian Rainbow Boas are native to Brazil to Venezuela. Rainbow Boas are a large snake, reaching lengths of 4 to 6 feet and weighing up to 2 to 5 pounds. Females tend to be larger than males. They are solitary animals and should be housed alone. If properly cared for Rainbow Boas usually live 20 to 30 years.
