The Giant Asian Mantis, is appropriately named for its relatively large size compared to other mantis species. The adult females of this species can reach lengths of around 8 to 10 centimetres or even larger. Their lifespan is relatively short, typically ranging from a few months to a year.
This species exhibits a range of colour variations, including shades of green, brown, pink and purple.
